Very close to the train station and easy access to the convenient stores. The hotel is surrounded by a lot of restaurants, bars, and nightclubs. Yet, no noise from outside. Easy access to all the fun places and shops at Ikebukuro. The room was small and "almost" no view from the window (facing the wall of the neighboring building), yet this is what you get for the price, I think. It did not cause any problems to me. Yet, the window aspect was a bit of a drawback, I found. Overall, it was a comfortable and nice stay. No problems whatsoever during my stay.

Great plus being near Ikebukuro station, as most trains and subways go through that station. It is really easy to move to and from the hotel. All the staff was really nice and helpful. Breakfast was mostly Japanese, which helps to immerse in the culture, but they had few other options if you are picky.
